Addiction
O God, our refuge and strength, we come before you with heavy hearts, burdened by the chains of addiction. We acknowledge the power it holds, the grip it has on lives, and the devastation it leaves in its wake. We pray for those who are struggling, for those caught in the cycle of dependency, for those who feel lost and hopeless. Grant them the courage to seek help, the strength to break free, and the unwavering belief that recovery is possible. We pray for their families and loved ones, who suffer alongside them, offering support and enduring heartbreak. Grant them patience, understanding, and the wisdom to know how to help without enabling. We pray for the healers, the counselors, the doctors, and all those who dedicate their lives to helping others overcome addiction. Grant them compassion, insight, and the resources they need to guide those in need toward healing. We ask for your divine intervention, O Lord, to break the chains of addiction, to heal the wounds it has inflicted, and to restore hope where it has been lost. Help us to create a world where addiction is understood, treated with compassion, and ultimately eradicated. We offer this prayer in faith, trusting in your boundless love and mercy. Amen.
